Superhealth introduces SuperOS, world’s first agentic AI operating system that runs an actual hospital

Superhealth has introduced SuperOS, the world’s first agentic AI operating system for healthcare. SuperOS runs the hospital end-to-end, improving both clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

The Bengaluru-based   healthcare provided built SuperOS in-house. Deployed at its hospital, it runs day-to-day hospital operations, assists doctors across consultations, differential diagnoses and surgical care, improves diagnostic scan speed and accuracy, monitors admitted patients, optimises operating-room flows and inventory management, and automatically generates discharge summaries.

It intelligently manages appointment slots and durations to maximise face time between doctors and patients, while predicting and proactively flagging potential delays for others.

Varun Dubey, founder and CEO, Superhealth, said, “SuperOS is the world’s first agentic AI operating system built to actually run a hospital, from clinical decisions to operations, from labs to discharge, from OT assignments to auto prescriptions, it does it all.

“It understands doctors, nurses, patients, and 15 Indian languages, and it orchestrates outcomes with humans and AI agents in real time. Only Superhealth could build this, because we are the only full-stack provider that designs, builds and operates hospitals while also building all the technology that runs them. This is not software that merely assists healthcare. This is technology that operates healthcare,” he added.

“India has a unique opportunity to show the world what real, meaningful healthcare AI looks like. SuperOS is built in India, for India using Indian clinical data. It is also deployed in India, and focused on solving problems that matter to our country and our people, said Dubey.

Noting that SuperOS consists of multiple components that work cohesively to ensure the highest clinical quality of care, Dubey said it provides a hassle-free patient experience through deep, agentic AI workflows.

It organises OPD slots by intelligently adjusting appointment durations based on the type of visit, whether it is a first consultation, follow-up, report review or post-surgical care. This ensures patients spend meaningful time with doctors and do not feel rushed.

During consultations, it suggests additional areas for clinical consideration, surfaces relevant patient history including past tests, scans and medications from previous Superhealth visits, and automatically drafts prescriptions based on the doctor’s diagnosis and advice. Doctors always review, edit if required, and approve the final prescription. This allows doctors to focus entirely on patients instead of typing, searching for records or documenting manually.
