The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) is all set to organize India Pavilion at Pharmaconex-2017 to be held at Cairo International Convention Center (CICC) in Cairo, Egypt from April 8-10th.
According to Uday Bhaskar, director general of Pharmexcil, Pharmaconex-2017 is an apt platform for the Indian pharmaceutical manufacturers and exporters where they can exhibit and promote their products to clients in the North Africa and Middle Easter region. “PHARMACONEX-2017 is the fifth annual event being held in Cairo. It is regarded as the leading exhibition for pharmaceutical manufacturing across the MENA region. As more than 120 pharmaceutical firms, along with importers and distributors from the region are expected to gather, it is an apt platform for our members to build their network in the region,” informed Uday Bhaskar.
This year Pharmaconex-2017 is expected to host more than 140 exhibitors and about 4000 visitors are expected to have their footfall during the two day event. As part of this event, Pharmexcil is also planning to publish a show catalogue encapsulating the Indian companies and their strengths.
As the Egyptian pharmaceutical industry is witnessing exciting developments like the formation of ‘The Egyptian National Company for Pharmaceuticals’ by the Egyptian Military, this is an apt opportunity for the Indian companies to take advantage and develop business network.
Not just, Egypt, this platform will also help the Indian firms to explore other northern African and Middle Eastern countries for their exports.
