2016 was a great year, a promising one that took off with us winning the “Best Clinical Research Company” award! A year of recognition, that saw our verticals, may it be medical writing, clinical operations, or clinical data management take center stage at prestigious conferences such as ISPOR, SCDM, and ISMPP across the globe. It is by virtue of the diversity that we hold in our talent pool that allows for year-on-year multiple invites as speakers and faculty members in addition to a request to champion and lead the India initiative for the growth of medical publications professionals. It is this industry acceptance of our quality of work that has laid the foundation for multiple trials coming our way, equally across all verticals, in spite of the dwindling regulatory scenario!

Across 2016, we aimed at changing the continuum of clinical research to include new arenas left unexplored. We introduced our new service line dedicated solely to health economics and outcomes research, expanded our medical communications and data analytics teams and plunged into diverse sections of scientific writing that are not template driven, but driven by the constantly evolving USFDA and EMA regulations! We now have dedicated teams of sizeable numbers for the transparency initiatives, aggregate reports, RMPs and many more. We continue to be market leaders in conducting phase IV studies, claim studies for the FMCG/ Consumer sector, medical communications – promising arenas poised for tremendous growth!

The New Year 2017 will see SIRO go through a tremendous round of expansion with quality and data integrity par international standards. Being one of Asia’s largest medical writing service providers, the baton of revolutionizing this field lies with us. With efforts already underway across the last few years, 2017 will see diversification to exponentially expand safety and publications writing.
While continuing our focus on the ‘CRO core competency’ of clinical operations and strengthening our flourishing medical writing and data services business, we have consciously had a paradigm shift in business operations; diversification and expansion into unexplored territories will be the key focus for the coming year 2017!
