The Homoeopathic Medical Association of Telangana (HMAT) is gearing up to conduct National Homoeopathic Conference 2017 on August 26-27 in Hyderabad. As part of this, the organizers have already finalized the venue and released a brochure about the event. “Preparations for conducting National Homoeopathic Conference in Hyderabad have already begun and have finalized Viswesaraiah Bhavan at Khairatabad as its venue for this year’s conference,” said Dr. P. Sampath Rao, president HMAT.
The HMAT president says that Homoeopathic Medical Association of Telangana has been at the forefront of standing up for the values and vision of homeopathic medicine and facing any challenges as far as the system is concerned. “We have been running charitable clinics from our premises in Hyderabad for more than forty five years while the speciality clinics have been in vogue for more than ten years which have caught the imagination of the population. We have also been conducting free health camps and awareness sessions about homeopathy all this while. Our Association conducts a month oration, again for more than thirty years apart from continuing medical education programmes for our professionals and we have also conducted conferences and seminars periodically,” informed Dr Rao.
This year the organizers have decided to conduct the conference for two days and are expecting more than 550 delegates from different parts of the country to take part in the conference. As the national conference is expected to discusses and deliberate on various issues concerning the Homoeopathy profession and its related fields such as academics, research and technological innovations, this year’s conference is expected to provide an apt platform for students, post graduates, interns and practitioners of homeopathy.
The organizers are confident that this year they will have a positive response as homoeopaths from all over India are expected to take part in this annual event. In fact it will be a great learning experience as speakers like Dr.Khuda Bukhsh who has more than 150 research papers on homoeopathy, Dr.Sunirmal Sarkaer an expert in Materia Medica in the country, Dr.Praveen Kumar who has done some research on HIV in Hyderabad, Dr.Praful Barvalia who has done a lot of research on ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders and Dr.Tapas Kundu, whose work on haemophilia with homeopathic remedies has won all round acclaim, are expected to deliver presentation on various issues concerning the Homeopathic profession.
Particularly the conference is designed to attract the young generation of homeopathy professionals and accordingly the speakers would make their presentation to kindle the enthusiasm and spirit in them.
