Bradley Pharmaceuticals Inc announced that The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. Patent No. 6,429,231 to Bradley. The patent, titled "Novel Composition Containing Antimicrobials And Urea For The Treatment Of Dermatological Disorders And Their Methods For Use," concerns Bradley products used for the treatment of acne and rosacea currently under development, which are projected to be launched next year. Additional products utilizing this technology platform are also under consideration.
President and CEO, Daniel Glassman, stated, "With the granting of this patent, Bradley's intellectual property becomes even stronger. The patent provides Bradley with a solid base upon which to build a potential launch of an innovative dermatologic product."
