Ajay Piramal, chairman, Nicholas Piramal India Ltd., has been inducted as a member into the Prime Minister's Council for Trade and Industry, the country's top advisory on economy and industry-related policy issues.
The Council on Trade & Industry, as an apex advisory body, helps strategic industry-government relations, economic policy matters and the harmonization of trade and industry with public policy. It creates the link between select industry leaders and the highest levels of government in India and Trade & Industry.
