The Indian Analytical Instruments Association (IAIA) in conjunction with Munich International Trade Fair is organising a conference, Analytica-Anacon, in Mumbai, India. The first international trade fair and conference for analysis, biotechnology, laboratory technology and services will be held at the Nehru Center in Mumbai from January 28 - 31, 2003. Organizers plan to hold the event every two years which will feature a large number of international exhibitors and nearly twice as much exhibition space (1,200 m²) as Anacon 2000.
The Indian Analytical Instruments Association (IAIA), whose members include Indian manufacturers and importers of analysis equipment, has been organizing Anacon - a series of three conferences for the Indian analysis sector accompanied by a single exhibition for Indian manufacturers and distributors of analysis and laboratory technology equipment - since 1997.
