National pharmacy week celebrated at Channabasweshwar Pharmacy College, Latur

The Channabasweshwar Pharmacy College, Latur (M.S.) celebrated their 41st national pharmacy week-2002 recently. The pharmacy week was inaugurated by Govindraoji Kendre, MLA, Udgir and the function was presided over by Vishwas NangrePatil, Superintendent of Police, Latur, Dist. The function was attended by dignitaries from chemist and druggist association, Indian Medical Association, National Integrated Medical association and the pharmacist from hospitals and regulatory department. In the week activities arranged slide show program on "Glimpses of Pharmacy profession in India". The show arranged by Prof. A. P. Hardas, Director, Pharma Guidance academy, Nagpur. In his lecture he highlighted the Historical developments of Pharmacy Profession in India. On the second day National Pharmacy week a 'Personality development camp' was arranged for the chemist, druggist, student pharmacists and academic pharmacist. The camp was arranged under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Chandorkar, Dean, MIMSR Medical College, Latur. In the whole day program arranged lecture of eminent person, group discussion, some exercise, and follow up study. Blood donation camp, free check up camp on various disease, lecture by eminent personalities and camp on yoga were arranged during the week.
