Glaxo SmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 10.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2002 as compared to Rs 30.39 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2001. Total Income (net of excise) has decreased from Rs 226.7 crore in DQ-01 to Rs 182.15 crore in DQ-02.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 85 crore in the year ended December 31, 2002 as compared to Rs 126.63 crore in the year ended December 31, 2001. Total Income (net of excise) has decreased from Rs 871.63 crore in FY-01 to Rs 767 crore in FY-02.
The Board of Directors approved the discontinuance of the consignment selling agency agreement for toothpaste with GlaxoSmithKline Asia Private Ltd wef January 31, 2003.
