The Suraksha Independent Ethics Committee is formally launching a certificate course in "Foundations of Clinical Research and Good Clinical Practice" conducted by Academy for Clinical Excellence for the first time in Gujarat. The launch will be held on February 20, 2003 at Hotel Fortune Landmark, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad.
The topics that will be discussed are Science and Ethics in Clinical Research by Dr A Bhatt, Clinical Pharmacologist; Role of the Ethics Committee in Clinical Research by Prof.C.J.Shishoo, Suraksha Independent Ethics Committee; Testing of Investigational Drugs in Cancer Patients by Dr. Chirag Desai, Oncologist and Investigator, Sterling Hospital; Initiatives in Clinical Research India by Samyuktha Ajay, Director, Academy for Clinical Excellence.
