CPhI Japan 2003 to be held in Tokyo on April 15

CPhI Japan 2003, the world's leading international trade exhibitions for pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals & intermediates, would be held from April 15-17, 2003 in Tokyo, Japan. The show promises to be bigger and better with about 400 exhibiting companies from both Japan and the rest of the world as well as a visitor attendance of more than 15,000. A specially produced conference, CPhI Japan Conference, on "Problems and Outlook of the Pharmaceutical Industry" will run also alongside the exhibition. It will feature an outlook of the issues directly confronting the pharmaceutical industry, as well as addressing a wide variety of themes such as R&D, management strategy, and the post genome market. Presentations will be given by leading academia, consultants and stock analysts from both Japan and overseas. Exhibitor presentation workshops planned will enable exhibiting companies to present papers introducing new products, the results of research or the announcement of new business developments to their Japanese customers and partners. The seminars will focus on the latest keywords, such as worldwide pharmaceutical markets' frontline movements, addressed by industry and government experts. CPhI Japan 2003 has endorsement and support of many influential Japanese pharmaceutical manufacturing trade bodies. Amongst them are included: Japan Chemical Industry Association, Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA), Japan Chemical Exporters' Association, Japan Chemical Importers' Association and Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry.
