Infra Medica 2003 begins in Delhi

Infra Medica 2003, the international exhibition and conference on medical technology that began here on Thursday is attracting visitors and participants from all fields of medical industry. The three-day event, being organized by FeP Pvt Ltd in association with Surgical Manufacturers and Traders Association, is aimed at giving a thrust to the existing scope of medical knowledge and displays the cutting edge technology of medical and surgical equipment. According to the organizers, medical, pharmaceutical companies, surgical and diagnostic equipment manufacturing companies are showing great interest in the programme. The event is co-sponsored by Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association, Indian Drug Manufacturers Association, All India Small Scale Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and supported by Indian Cancer Society, Techno Telemedicine and Delhi Police Foundation. The event has the presence of about 200 exhibitors, which includes companies from US, UK, China and Norway. The seminar covers topics such as telemedicine, cancer, radiology and imaging, bio informatics, trauma and disaster management and rehabilitation, cardiology, lifestyle diseases, insurance education - plans and policies - holistic medicine etc. People from the medical industry such as manufacturers, traders, doctors, scientist, researchers, technocrats, chemists, biochemists, biologist, technicians, physiotherapists, radiologist, pathologists, care services group, government officials are all visiting the exhibition and participating in the conference, organizers informed.
