The Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM), Pune Branch would be organizing the ‘7th Annual Workshop on Mechanical Ventilation’ at Hotel Le Meridian, Pune on the 13th and 14th September, 2003.
The workshop has been designed so as to provide intensive practical training on mechanical ventilation and care management. Extensive scientific sessions are also scheduled for the two-day meet.
Some of the topics to be discussed include; diagnosis and approach to patients with acute respiratory failure; pathophysiology; transport ventilation in critically ill patient; approach to difficult airway; methods to reduce patient ventilator dyssynchrony and imaging in ARDS.
