The IPA Hubli local Branch, in association with Dharwad District Chemists & Druggists Association, Hubli, had organised a Continued Pharmacy Education Programme on September 7, 2003. The aim was to acquaint and create awareness amongst practicing community pharmacists, about good pharmacy practice, who have entered the profession just within a span of 1-2 years.
Deputy Drugs Controller and President of IPA Shri Shridhar Anigundi, Asst Drugs Controller and Vice President IPA H. Revanasiddappa, Drugs Inspector (Blood bank & Intelligence wing) and Treasurer IPA Mallikarjun Nagur, another Drugs Inspector (licencing) and life members, IPA Goni Fakkirappa jointly enlightened the members.
The focus was on the following aspects: 1) To practice dispensing of medicines, by strictly adhering to conditions of license. 2) Information about banned drugs. 3) The storage conditions of different medicines for best efficacy and potency.
