The Indian Pharmaceutical Association- Hubli branch organized a workshop on September 21, 2003 at Dharwad City. The aim was to acquaint and create awareness amongst practicing Community Pharmacists about Good Pharmacy Practice.
The focus was on the following aspects 1) To practice dispensing of medicines by strictly adhering to conditions of license. 2) Information about banned drugs. 3) The storage conditions of different medicines for best Efficacy & Potency.
Informative brochures on above subjects were distributed to all members. Information on Sale Tax, CST & RST etc. were also passed on to members.
Deputy Drugs Controller and President of IPA Shridhar Anigundi, Asst. Drugs Controller and Vice President IPA. H.R. Revanasiddappa, Drugs Inspector (Blood bank & Intelligence wing) and Treasurer IPA Mallikarjun Nagur, another Drugs Inspector (licencing) and lifemember IPA Goni Fakkirappa jointly enlightened the members.
This is the second programme of this kind in this month organized by IPA Hubli branch.
