Strategic Information Systems to expand Indian operations

The Hyderabad-based healthcare technology service provider, Strategic Information Systems (SIS) India, is planning to expand its operations by pumping in new investment up to US$ 2 million and increasing its staff from the current 110 to 175. Drew S Cobb, vice president- Systems Development, SIS said that there is a health boom in the US, as in UK. The company’s strength lies in surgical and hospital solutions. It is fully tuned to clinical and insurance procedures in the US, and thus wants to concentrate on US hospitals. Established in 2001 at Hyderabad as a fully owned subsidiary SIS, USA, the Indian centre is actively involved in coding and quality assurance activities, besides development of new version of OR products. SIS, USA has started its operations in the year 1996, with a centre at Atlanta, which basically is engaged in design and analysis, and has developed products such as Dynamic GUI, and PNDS Manager.
