Panacea forays into OTC market with piles management kit

The Delhi based Panacea Biotec has forayed into the OTC segment through its strategic business unit 'Best on Health', which would cater to herbal and dietary supplement products. The company has launched the first ever piles management system with its 'ThankGod' product range. The product range includes ThankGod capsules, cream, isabgol and husk. The company has pioneered this category by offering a complete range of products to take care of the discomfort caused by piles. According to Rajesh Jain, joint managing director, panacea Biotec, the ThankGod Piles Management Kit has been specially designed for integrated management of piles. "Our vision was to provide a comprehensive solution for first and second degree piles patients. This technology is worldwide patented and we are the only providers of such a 100 per cent natural, world-wide patented product, with successful clinical trials done in India," he adds. Panacea has now put up a multi dimensional approach to market these products through Best on Health, which is a portal/platform that provides communication between the patients and medical experts through a user-friendly technology, online medical expertise and offline healthcare support. "ThankGod" is presently available in 6500 outlets across 35 cities with company planning a phase-wise to spread its distribution further. The kit comes in a value pack along with a free Piles Patient Information Booklet and a free Internet Consultation Coupon, which entitles the consumer to a free online consultation with a doctor for any specific queries. The kit has been designed for systematic and consistent treatment of piles, to be used in combination for 14 days.
