The Indian chapter of Controlled Release Society (CRS) will organize its fifth international symposium on February 16 and 17 in Mumbai. The CRS country chapter, in keeping with the mission and spirit of CRS Inc. USA, regularly organizes a series of workshops and symposia with the focus on advances in technology and business potential of new drug delivery systems (NDDS).
The symposium will bring internationally reputed scientists on a common platform so as to provide an update on the progress in the science and technology of NDDS. The deliberations will focus on emerging areas of NDDS, design, development and evaluation. The participants will have opportunities for interaction and potential collaboration with experts and technocrats engaged in the field of controlled release. Poster sessions will provide a platform to share information and discuss topics of interest to scientists currently engaged in active research in the field of NDDS.
An exhibition of pharmaceutical equipment and NDDS products is also planned to coincide with the symposium. The proceedings will be targeted to benefit the delegates who are experts in R&D, scientists in QA and QC, executive in production and management, authorities in regulatory affairs, academicians and post graduate students involved in NDDS design and development. According to the organizers, the last date for registration for this symposium is January 25, 2004.
