Eon Labs announced that the US District Court for the southern district of Florida denied motions for a Temporary Restraining Order and a Preliminary Injunction made by Andrx Pharmaceuticals, LLC related to Eon Labs' Bupropion HCl, ER 100mg tablets.
Related to the patent litigation with GlaxoSmithKline pertaining to Bupropion HCl, ER tablets, Eon Labs recently filed a motion with the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to stay the preliminary injunction previously granted by the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. The US Court of Appeals for Federal Circuit acted promptly on its motion and ordered the preliminary injunction be temporarily stayed.
