Firmly established as the leading health care event in the Middle East, ArabHealth 2004 Exhibition & Congress will be held from 18 - 21 January 2004 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, UAE. Currently in its 3rd year, Arab Health has emerged an integrated healthcare forum encompassing trade, major international product launches and health care recruitment besides being a highly active interactive platform for exchanging ideas. With a might of over 1,000 companies and 19,000 visitors, international Health Congress is considered as the key knowledge forum for the region's medical profession, pharmacists, dealers and distributors, supplies managers, manufacturers, head of departments, nutritionists and consultants. Realising the exponential growth in demand for quality health care in the Middle East, Arab Health has carved out five key vertical industry sectors of the exhibition - Pharma, Medlab, Dentistry, International Health Services and Hospital Design & Interiors - to provide exhibitors greater access to their target audiences. Pharma 2004 was launched in 2002 targetting access to a market valued at over US$4 billion. Middle East pharmaceutical market is poised to grow almost double the world average over next few years. The rapid growth of this region is attributed to population growth and easing of registration of new products. It has been observed that more than a quarter of visitors of Arab Health are health care professionals primarily interested in pharmaceutical products and services. Pharma 2004 will be an ideal event to showcase products ranging from OTC, Complementary, Generics, Supplements, Bulk/Raw Materials, POMs, Vitamins, Herbals and Alternative as well as a platform to launch new products across the GCC and Middle East regions. Arab Dentistry 2004 is an opportunity for key buyers and decision makers from the vast and lucrative markets of the Middle East, Indian SubContinent and the CIS. The Arab dental market in the Middle East alone is currently valued at over US$2 billion per annum. MedLab is considered the only international trade fair dedicated to medical laboratory equipment in the Middle East. Manufacturers/distributors of products and services identify this as a unique event as the number and quality of private and public medical laboratory facilities in the Middle East continue to increase. Hospital Design & Interiors (HDI) focuses on the challenges of creating a healthcare environment that improves the quality of care and ultimately increases the efficiency and profitability of the facility. HDI will bring together care providers, healthcare executives from the public and private sectors, facility planners/managers, designers, architects and contractors to a forum which showcases the most progressive developments in healthcare design. International Health Services 2004 (IHS) is a specialist exhibition catering to the high demand for foreign medical facilities and global insurance programmes in the Middle East; and the growing trend for patients and doctors in the Middle East to seek medical treatment and advice from international hospitals and clinics. IHS includes a healthcare recruitment centre servicing both individual medical professionals and medical institutions, including hospitals and specialist treatment centres. Run in conjunction with Bayt.com, the UAE's leading online recruitment resource, show participants are able to search through hundreds of hospital and other health industry related catagories for employees and career opportunities.
