The Anthroposophical Medical Society has organized an international postgraduate medical training in anthroposophic medicine in the premises of ICRISAT at Hyderabad from February 1st to 8th. This will help modern academic medical research attain a truly holistic approach, integrate the dimensions of inner spiritual development and a deeper understanding of human being’s physical nature in health and illness.
The concept called Salutogenesis is a new paradigm, which deals with the main sources of health and well-being. It deals with elements that help a person cope with stress and other physical and psychological problems, factors that help the man remain healthy despite disasters, starvation or exposure to pathogenic factors and explores the sources of self-regeneration and self-healing.
Faculty members from Switzerland, Germany, Australia and New Zealand are imparting the training.
