Analytica Anacon - exhibition on analytical instruments to be held in November

Analytica Anacon, an international trade fair and conference for analytical instrumentation, biotechnology, laboratory technology and services will be held from November 25-27, 2004 at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai. The exhibition will be organised at a space of 1,200 sq m, covering 60 exhibitors across 12 countries and targeting 2,239 visitors. In addition to exhibits depicting the entire market and the related scientific conference, the fair will feature a new Analytica-Anacon Forum for company presentations and panel discussions. In another new development that falls under the heading of matchmaking, international manufacturers will have an opportunity to make individual appointments with Indian business associates and distributors before the fair begins. “Twenty per cent of the speakers at the concurrent conference will speak on nanotechnology, an emerging topic in the area of analytical instrumentation,” said Asis Ganguly, president, Indian Analytical Instruments manufacturers Association. “Twenty-twenty five per cent of the exhibitors would be focused on the pharma, biotechnology and healthcare segments,” said Kurt Schraudy of Messe Munchen International, organiser of the fair.
