The 10th international exhibition on medical and hospital equipment HOSPIMedica will begin at Hyderabad from February 13. Messe Duesseldorf and their Indian subsidiary Cidex Trade Fairs are organizing the three-day event. The event is supported by Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and Medica, the world's largest trade show for the medical industry.
Medical specialists, hospital administrators, medical equipment manufacturers and healthcare consultants are all to meet under one roof. Several companies would showcase the latest medical equipments and technologies across the globe. The participating countries besides India include Germany, China, USA, Italy, Singapore and Pakistan.
Concurrent to the show, Apollo Hospitals is organizing a medical conference on emergency medicine and disaster management, 'EMERGEINDIA'. Emergency medicine is one of the most neglected specialties in India, despite trauma being amongst the top five killers in the country and emergencies in total accounting for over 60 per cent of total deaths.
