Trinity Hospital to provide cardiac services to Karnataka government staff

The government of Karnataka has recognized Bangalore based Trinity Hospital and Heart Foundation under the "State government health services scheme" for providing cardiac services for the state government staff and their dependants. The hospital is already recognized by the government of India under the CGHS Scheme and the "Arogya Bhagya Scheme" for providing cardiac services to the police personnel and their dependants. The three year-old Trinity Hospital and Heart Foundation is a dedicated Heart facility in south Bangalore providing comprehensive cardiac care under one roof. Other than the basic facilities the hospital has 3 major operation theatres and a digital cardiac cathlab. In the last three years, the hospital has been able to cater to around 25,000 out patients and 7,000 inpatients. The team of doctors has performed 5,000 coronary angiograms, 1000 angioplasties and 600 coronary bypass surgeries. The hospital has also treated patients with minimally invasive endovascular procedures like angioplasty, stents, rotational atheractomy, cutting balloon, valvulosplasty, stent grafting, device closure of ASD, PDA and embolisation procedures.
