Richie Lab's new ED products receive WHO compliance certification

The Mumbai-based Richie Laboratories has received quality approvals as per WHO compliance for its two newly launched drug brands. The products approved by the Maharashtra FDA are TadaRich (tadalafil) and Target (sildenafil citrate). The company launched TadaRich in the market a month ago while Target was launched last year. Both these products are used for the indication of erectile dysfunction (ED). Commenting on the approvals, Hansraj Patwari, chairman, Richie Laboratories, said that it will really enhance the export possibilities of these products. “Currently both these products are having huge export potential in SAARC, South Africa and UAE countries,” he added. Richie’s manufacturing plant located at Vasai in Maharashtra is already a WHO- GMP complied facility. The company is at present manufactures both formulation and APIs.
