The Chennai based Scigenics Biotech (Pvt) Ltd, is organizing a scientific session with the theme 'future of indigenous manufacture of biotech equipment' on April 24, 2004, to mark the occasion of the manufacture of its 1000th Shaker equipment.
Conduced at Hotel Radisson, Chennai, the programme would be attended by over 75 scientists from various institutes, universities and industries, said company sources.
Sources said the Scigenics, incepted in 1991, is a leading manufacturer of bioreactors, fermenters and shakers required for the biotech industries and research institutes, and its contribution in the manufacturing of import substitute biotech bio-equipment have helped the company mobilize numerous clients in the country.
