The twin shows unveil in Kuala Lumpur

Mid Valley Exhibition Centre at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is all set to host what is known as the biggest trade show in the South East Asia. The four-day gala of the leading players of the health care industry in the region is scheduled to start on April 21. ABC Exhibitions of Malaysia has teamed up with Indian organiser Global Pharma Expo to bring together the twin mega shows-South-East Asian Healthcare Show and Asia Pharma Expo. The South East Asian Healthcare Show has established itself in Kuala Lumpur for the past eight years as a dedicated trade event. Whereas, Asia Pharma Expo will be held for the first time in SE-Asia. The recognition has enabled Malaysian pharma companies more easily to export their products to PIC/S members, mainly in the European Union. And after all, Indian industry over the past few years has shifted its focus towards its SE-Asian neighbours, especially Malaysia. Bilateral trade between India and Malaysia amounted to some RM12 billion in 2003 with Indian exports reaching RM2.55 billion and imports from Malaysia at RM9.53 billion, he said.
