IPER gets NBA accreditation B Pharm programme

Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (IPER), Borgaon (Meghe), Wardha received the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi's accreditation for its Bachelor of Pharmacy course. This is the first pharmacy institute in Vidarbha and Marathwada region of state accreditated by NBA & 4th in State of Maharashtra, an official release said. An NBA expert committee, headed by prof. R K Khar, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Hamdard University, New Delhi and comprised of prof. Malay Chatterjee, Jadavpur University, Kolkata and prof. S K Patnaik, Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi had visited IPER in January 2004. IPER conducts diploma, degree, post graduate and research programme in pharmaceutical sciences. It is managed by Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society, Amravati which was founded by late prof. Ram Meghe, ex-education minister, State of Maharashtra.
