Bioniche Life Sciences Inc, a fully-integrated human and animal biopharmaceutical company, has commenced sales of its Cue-Mate animal reproductive technology in Australia, said in a release. "There are approximately 27.6 million cattle in Australia," noted Martin Warmelink, president of Bioniche Animal Health. "Cue-Mate will be a valuable technology to help cattle, especially dairy, producers improve the success of their herd reproduction," he added. Graeme McRae, president & CEO of Bioniche Life Sciences Inc commented, "We are pleased to add Cue-Mate to our portfolio of products in the Australian market. The large cattle market presents a substantial revenue opportunity as we continue to strengthen our global presence." Cue-Mate is a uniquely-designed progesterone delivery device for cows that enables dairy farmers and cattle producers to plan and manage the reproductive timing of their herds. Bioniche acquired the intellectual property and other assets of the Cue-Mate business earlier this year from Pfizer Inc. Cue-Mate is also registered in New Zealand, Chile, and Argentina. The Bioniche Animal Health marketing office in Armidale, New South Wales, Australia will oversee sales of Cue-Mate down under.
