Industry Institute Partnership Cell in conjunction with Department of Pharmaceutics, Bombay College of Pharmacy organized a seminar entitled "Pelletization and Drug Delivery" recently at Bombay College of Pharmacy Kalina, Mumbai.
The introductory speech by Dr. M N Saraf, Principal Bombay College of Pharmacy highlighted the objective of Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) sponsored by AICTE. He stressed the importance of the interaction between academia and industry through such programmes which will benefit both the segments.
Budharaja, CEO, Umang Pharmatech Pvt Ltd discussed the machinery and equipment involved in pelletization and Fluid bed processing that are designed, manufactured and marketed by Umang Pharmatech.
There was an exhibition of pellets in various dosage forms arranged by Pam Glatt technologies. Dr. M S Nagarsenker, HOD and Professor in Pharmaceutics and Dr. M D Menon, asst. professor, Pharmaceutics, Bombay College of Pharmacy successfully coordinated this seminar.
