Natco has received Medicine and Health Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approval to market Metronidazole 400 mg. tablets in UK. In addition to it, Natco has already received approval from the Danish Health authorities for its anti-emetic drug Ondansetron in 4 mg and 8 mg tablet. Consequent to this approval, Natco has initiated the process of complying with the mutual recognition procedures which would provide an entry into the whole of the European Union. Natco expects to file applications for another three products for marketing approval in the EU by the end of this fiscal, bringing the total filings to six in the EU. Meanwhile, the company has finalized its plans to raise US $ 10-13 Million through an issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) to meet its expenses on regulatory filings and other capital expenditure.
