Fortis Hospital, Noida inaugurated on Sunday

Fortis Healthcare Limited's first hospital in NCR at Noida has been inaugurated by Hon'ble union minister of defence, Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday. Fortis Hospital, Noida is a state of the art multi-speciality tertiary care hospital, with Super Speciality in Orthopaedics and Neuro Sciences. Fortis Hospital Noida also offers specialized care in Oncology, Trauma care, Gastro-intestinal diseases, Renal Sciences, Obstetrics and Gynecology and a host of other medical specialties, officials informed here. Speaking on the occasion, Pranab Mukherjee said, "Healthcare is one of the most critical components for growth and development of any country. India needs world-class healthcare establishments and the role of private hospitals like this will only enhance our capability in delivering health the masses." Speaking at the launch, Harpal Singh, chairman, Fortis Healthcare Limited said, "Fortis Hospital, Noida is an integral part of the Fortis vision of bringing world-class healthcare within easy reach of the people. This centre, which is the first of many hospitals of the Fortis Network in the National Capital Region, will not only provide medical facilities of international standards to the people in North India, it will also go a long way in fulfilling the need for healthcare infrastructure for the entire country, a harbinger of prosperity & development." Built with an investment of Rs 100 crore, Fortis Hospital, Noida is spread over 2,50,000sq. ft.
