Dionex Summit x 2 Dual Gradient System employs two tertiary gradient pumps in a single housing and a thermostatted column switching valve in the column oven. This alongwith autosampler and detector provides the highest level of flexibility for standard HPLC and for advanced chromatographic techniques.
It is suitable for tandem operation, online sample preparation and 2-D chromatography. Laboratories can increase sample throughput, typically by 50-100% without modifying existing validated methods, running samples in dual-column tandem mode with off-line column reconditioning. Summit x 2 systems supports on-line sample preparation techniques, e.g. for analyte enrichment or matrix elimination, and 2-D chromatography for increased chromatographic resolution.
The system provides the described capabilities without increasing bench space requirements. Customers receive a dual-pump system with the same footprint and height as a standard HPLC.
