ITPO, Dept of Ayush organizing "Arogya-2005" in Chennai from Jan 7-9

India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) in association with the Department of Ayush is organizing "Arogya-2005" in Chennai from January 7 to 9. There will be 60 exhibitors from different parts of the country participating the event. ITPO sources said, most of the leading Ayurvedic firms from Kerala and the research organizations under the department of AYUSH are participating in the exhibition. The fair will attract the stakeholders in medical sector, businessmen, manufacturers, retailers, medical practitioners and the general public. The exhibition aims at projecting and propagating the strength of Indian medicines in terms of tackling current health problems through life styles and ISM drugs and therapies. Further, it will focus on holistic health and manufacturers of allopathic, equipment and pharmaceuticals with a view of leading to cross fertilization of ideas. TamilNadu Governor Surjeeth Singh Barnala will inaugurate the exhibition at the Chennai Trade Centre in the presence of Dr. Anbunmani Ramadoss, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, EVKS Ilangovan, Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industries, Panabaka Lakshmi, Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare etc. About 11 guest lectures by experts from the field of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy and Toga have been planned as part of the conference, said sources.
