Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd has received major set back during the quarter ended December 2004. Its net profit declined by 31.4 per cent to Rs 5.76 crore from Rs 8.40 crore in the corresponding period of last year.
Similarly, the company's turnover remained stagnant at Rs 173.19 crore.
