Calsoft acquires majority stake in American HealthNet Inc

California Software Company Ltd (Calsoft) has signed an agreement to acquire 51 per cent equity in the US-based American HealthNet Inc (AHN). Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, AHN is a healthcare software product company. AHN provides Integrated Enterprise Software applications to Community Healthcare Organizations and is a leading player in the US Community Healthcare Software market. With a growing customer base of over 250 Hospitals and Clinics, AHN had sales of $6.5M in 2004 and expects about $8M sales in 2005. AHN's Clarus suite of products with its core enterprise muster patient index features a full complement of clinical applications from electronic medical records to order management - and is fully integrated with all financial applications. The Clarus suite provides its target segment of healthcare providers a cost effective integrated solution that meets HIPAA requirements for EDI Privacy and Security.
