The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed or revised the prices of 132 formulation packs. While there are ceiling prices fixed for 68 formulation packs based on prices of bulk drug such as Cefadroxyl (39 packs), Aspirin combinations (19), Phenyl Butazone (4), Pentazocine (2), Ibuprofen (1pack), Benzethine Pencillin G (1), Procain Penicillin G + Sodium Penicillin G (1) and Pyrantel Palmoate (1) the rest are for 64 non-ceiling packs including 10 imported insulin formulations. The changes have been notified separately on March 28 and 30.
