NIPER to hold workshop on 'Regulatory Considerations for Exports of Pharmaceuticals' on May 9-10

National Institute of Pharmaceuticals Education and Research (NIPER) is conducting a two-days workshop on 'Regulatory Considerations for Exports of Pharmaceuticals' on May 9-10, 2005 at its SAS Nagar campus. The topics for discussion include - Current status of exports from India; Indian and global regulatory environment; Designing a regulatory strategy for exports; Harmonization of regulatory requirements; Entering the generics market in advanced countries; Modern trends in processing and quality control; Intellectual property rights. The workshop will be beneficial for pharmaceutical professionals engaged in regulatory affairs, R&D, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceuticals. The workshop will highlight the role of regulations in exports of pharmaceuticals and hence will be of interest to people engaged in business planning and development, a release said.
