Training programme for drug regulatory personnel at NIPER on 16- 27, May

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) based at SAS Nagar, is conducting fourth training programme for Drug Regulatory Personnel under Capacity Building Project, sponsored by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and funded by World Bank from 16th May - 27th May, 2005. The training programme will include classroom sessions and industrial visits. The Drug Regulatory Staff will be provided comprehensive training on -Harmonization in Working of Regulatory Officers in India; Indian Drug Legislation and Mashelkar Committee Report; History; Drugs Price Control in India - Its influence on Manufacture and Sales of Pharmaceutical Products and Salient Features of DPCO, 1995; WHO Certification Scheme; ICH Activity and Impact on Manufacture and Registration of Pharmaceuticals; The Patents (Amendment) Rules, 2005 and its Impact on Prices of Pharmaceuticals etc, a release stated here.
