CII-APTDC to conduct training programme on patents on June 29 & 30

The Confederation of Indian Industry and Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre are jointly conducting a two-day certificate training programme on Patents at Hyderabad on June 29 and 30. The objective of the programme is to provide insight into critical issues relating to Patents, provide hands on training on patent search & sensitization into claim drafting aspects, provide platform for one to one interactions with the IP heads of leading corporates. It will throw light on the new Patent Regime & the International Patenting scenario and elucidate procedural issues for filing patents in India and abroad. The focus would be mainly on Pharma and Biotech sectors, officials informed. The key faculty includes, Sumesh Reddy, head IP, Dr Reddy's Laboratoires; Dr Padmaja, head IP Aurobindo Pharma Ltd; Dr Malathi Lakshmikumaran, Attorney Expert in Biotech Patents, officials from the Indain Patent Office and experts from other industries. The training programme will have six sessions spread over two days. The registration fee for the training programme is Rs 6000.
