The former general secretary of Federation of Drug Traders Andhra Pradesh (FEDTAP), D Krishna Reddy, has been elevated to the post of president of the Federation during the recent elections. Whereas, Janardhan Rao has been elected as the general secretary of FEDTAP.
They will serve for the period 2005-'07, holding these positions. FEDTAP represents 37,000 chemists of AP comprising of 23 districts.
The Federation has the responsibility to safeguard interests and rights of the chemists before the Central and State Governments and while dealing with the pharmaceuticals industry, said a release here.
