Svizera Healthcare launches Femarelle for treating menopausal problems

Svizera Healthcare, a gynaecology and infertility drug company in India has launched Femarelle - a novel herbal drug to counter menopausal problem in women. The drug has been launched in collaboration with Se-cure Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Israel. Femarelle is a selective estrogen receptor modulator of plant origin (Phyto-SERM) that combines the management of menopause and bone health. Unlike the popular option of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with estrogen that increases the risk of breast cancer, Femarelle is the safest solution for the miseries and complications of menopause, explained Dr R K Sanghavi, Medical Adviser - Svizera and Former Chairman of the Medical Sub-Committee of Indian Drugs Manufacturing Association (IDMA). "PhytoSERM is both effective and safe," he added. Dr Israel Yoles, managing director, Sheba Medical Centre, Tel Hashomer, Israel, and also the Medical Director of Se-cure Pharma, Israel, stated, "Femarelle has proved through many clinical and basic studies that it is the ultimate alternative to the existing treatments available today including the different HRT and bisphosphonates etc." Svizera is the marketing arm of Maneesh Pharmaceuticals, a Global Healthcare Company with special focus in gynaecology and infertility, offering solutions right from menarche to menopause.
