Brijendra Brajmohan Jain, a lecturer at Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune has received a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the subject of Pharmacology.
Jain earned this degree for his thesis entitled "A study of Pharmacological actions of stone indigenous plants in laboratory animals", which he carried out under the supervision of Dr. Bodhankar who heads the department of Pharmacology at Poona. College of Pharmacy.
Jain has participated and presented 13 papers on his research work in national and international conferences. He bagged an award for the best paper at the "First World Herbo Expo" held at Bhopal in January last year.
