The results for the elections held for the first Committee of Administration (COA) of Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council (PHARMEXCIL), for the year 2005-06 will be announced at its AGM on October 3, 2005 in Hyderabad.
The elections were held for the sixteen seats that include four seats for Small Scale Industries category, four seats for Non SSI Manufacturers, four seats for Status holder category (Star export houses) as per the Current Foreign Trade Policy, one seat each for Merchant exporters; Herbal, Unani, Ayurvedic & Homeopathic exporters; R & D, CROs and Biotech; and Others.
According to Pharmexcil sources, the counting has been completed on Friday evening. The Council has completed 16 months of its operations and is conducting its first Annual General Body Meeting on October 3, 2005 at Hyderabad.
