The third convocation of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Mohali, will be held on November 14, 2005. NIPER is the first national level institute with the proclaimed objective of becoming centre of excellence in the area of pharmaceutical education and research. The degrees will be distributed by Dr. V. Krishnamurthy Padmabhushan, Chairman, National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council.
A total of 203 students, comprising 179 masters students and 24 PhD students, will be conferred degrees for their masters and doctoral programmes. Chavrai Suresh Ramesh Lal (2003) & Ali Sajjad Bohra (2005) for MS course and Kannan I (2004) & Shalini Anand (2005) for MBA course, will be awarded the toppers' medals for their meritorious performance.
