Richmond Chemical Corporation is hosting an Indo-China pharmaceutical symposium “Opportunities for Growth and Development in the Indo-China Pharmaceutical Industry” on December 5, 2005 in Hyderabad at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology.
The event is being organised with the patronage of Richmond Chemical Corporation and with the support of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, The Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIOC/CAS) and Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT). Professor Jiang Biao, director of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, will lead the Chinese delegation.
The symposium will provide a forum for presentation, specific discussions on chemical research and technology transfer, and open sessions for networking and exchanging of ideas with the objective of promoting the channels of communication for the exchange of innovative ideas among Chinese and Indian scientists and industry leaders.
Richmond Chemical Corporation aims at promoting the channels of communication between the pharmaceutical industries in these countries, and to provide a high-value forum in which to cultivate future research and development collaborations, through this symposium.

The Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry-Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIOC-CAS) was founded in May 1950, following the merger of the Institute of Chemistry of the former Central Academy of Sciences with the Institute of Chemistry and Institute of Materia Medica of the former Peking Academy of Sciences.
