Micro Labs receives IDMA awards - 2005

Micro Labs, Karnataka's leading pharmaceutical company has bagged IDMA (Indian Drug Manufacturers Associations) Quality Excellence Award for the fifth time consecutively. The significant factor of this year is Micro Labs Goa unit and Hosur units were approved by the UK MHRA and both have received Gold and Silver awards respectively. The award is given annually by IDMA on turnover basis for the purpose of appreciation and promotion of excellence and product quality. The awards are given in the category of formulations with annual turnover of above Rs.100 crore. The company has registered a turnover of Rs. 550 crore ending March 2005. "After UK MHRA approvals, the IDMA award comes as an icing on the cake for both the Goa and Hosur units of Micro Labs," stated Dilip Surana managing director, Micro Labs. The award is presented on the 44th Annual Celebrations to be held at Mumbai. All these years Micro has been competing for this award with high turnover category companies.
