The 5th Annual Global Generic Strategy Summit will to be held at Hotel Fira Palace in Barcelona from 20th to 23rd March, 2006. The summit provides a platform to generic pharmaceutical leaders from all over the world to meet and strengthen their business ties.
Strategy presentations from global leading companies will be made at the summit. The meet also aims to provide an insight on the approach adopted by generic companies to thrive among market competition and efficient routes to market in new regions.
Workshops and seminars on subjects such as fast track development of generic products, legal issues in generic registration and the challenges and opportunities in the generic industry will be organised. The objectives of the workshop is to help generic pharmaceutical professionals understand the regulatory process of approval, the process of planning and implementing the development of generic products, brand identity and data exclusivity. It aims to create awareness regarding patent rights, supplementary protection certificates (SPCs) and 'Bolar' provisions in Europe.
