India and CIS International Pharma Conference, organised by Pharmaceuticals Export promotion Council (Pharmexcil), started here in Mumbai today.
DB Mody, chairman, Pharmexcil, Jayant Das Gupta, Jt. Secretary, Dept of commerce, Govt of India, GS Sandhu, Jt. Secretary, Dept of chemicals and petrochemicals, Govt of India, Ashwini Kumar, DCGI, Sandeep Chakravorthy, Dy, Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs attended the function.
In the technical session, GS Sandhu presented report on Indian Pharmaceutical industry. In tomorrow's technical session II, Dr Venkateshwarlu, Dy. DCGI will present report on Indian Drug Regulatory Systems.
The conference will end on March 5.
