Academy of Intellectual Property Studies (AIPS), Mumbai, is conducting a 5-day workshop on patent fundamentals & practice on June 1 to June 5, 2006 at AIPS, Kalina, Mumbai.
Course objectives include-providing an appreciation of the various legal & practical issues relating to patents. This workshop aims at providing training in- patent fundamentals; prior art search; patent specification drafting; filing & prosecuting patent applications; claim interpretation & analyses; exploiting patents.
Topics of the workshop include -Patent Fundamentals, Indian Patent Act, International Agreements, Filing & Prosecution of Patents, Patent Specification Drafting, Prior Art Search, Claim Interpretation, Patent Exploitation etc. Faculties include- Dr. Prabhudda Ganguli, H. Subramaniam/ Natraj, Dr, Mangala Venkatramani, Dr Pradeep Paranjpe,. M A Jose and Adarsh Nigam.
The Academy is also conducting a 1-day workshop on trade Secrets and industrial Design on the June 6, 2006 at the same venue.
This workshop aims at providing training in Industrial Designs Fundamentals, Designs Registration & Overview of the Designs Act, Trade Secrets-- Fundamentals & related Laws
